Greta Fern Osburn

Greta Fern Osburn age 77 of Fredonia, KY passed away February 18, 2024 at Crittenden County Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She enjoyed playing the piano at Baker Baptist Church and was a member of Salem Baptist Church. She had been employed by the Sturgis Pants Factory for many years and retired from the Crittenden County Convalescent Center. In her spare time, Greta enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Greta is survived by her daughters, Alicia Thornton, Fredonia, KY and Vicki Berry, Marion, KY; sister, Amy Bell, Marion, KY and brothers, Richard Newcom, Illinois and Phil Newcom, Arkansas; grandchildren, Jordan Murray, Dyllan Thornton and Brynna McDowell; eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Stross and Mina Scott Newcom; brother, David Newcom and granddaughter, Shawnna Murray.

Friends may call at Myers Funeral Home, Friday February 23, 2024 beginning at   10 AM and continuing until the time of the funeral at 2 PM. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery.
