Gregory Allen Sexton

Gregory Allen Sexton, 62, was born on Feb. 13, 1957 to Willa Jean & David Franklin Sexton. He was a farmer,a coal miner, a construction worker, & a welder. His most beloved title was Dad and Poppie. On Tuesday, September 24,2019 he passed away at his home surrounded by family. He is described as a loving and caring dad, best friend, grandfather, husband, brother, son, and friend.

He is missed and loved deeply by children David & Ally Sexton of Marion, Ky, Nicole Sexton & Justin Towery, of Princeton, Ky, Heath & Andrea Hutchison of Marion, Ky, Shane & Kristi Carter of Topeka,Ks , Erica & Joe Don Doom of Fredonia,Ky. His siblings, Keeven and Jan Sexton of Paducah, Ky, Deborah and Eddie Wright of Marion, Ky, Wesley and Shannon Sexton of Joy, Ky. His grandchildren, Alayna, Graham, Maggie, Kamryn, Amelia, Dailynn, life long best friend and caretaker Janie Nally as well as several neices & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Judy Sexton, his mother, father and brother David Ronald Sexton.

A celebration of life will be held at Myers Funeral home in Marion. Funeral services will be held on Sunday September 29, 2019 at 5:00 pm, the family will receive visitors from 2pm- 5pm and a meal will follow at David Sexton’s home.
