Obituary

Alta Herbert Alexander, Jr. age 93 of Marion, KY passed away February 1, 2022 at Crittenden Community Hospital.

Brother Alexander had pastored Pleasant Grove General Baptist Church for over 45 years and had served at several other churches. He was also a farmer.

He is survived by his son Tony (Kay) Alexander, Marion, KY; daughter in law Brenda Alexander, Marion, KY; grandchildren, Shannon Alexander, Sherri (Scott) Pruit, Stephanie (Jason Sisco) Camp, Justin(Jennifer Travis) Alexander; great grandhildren, Cheyenne and Harbour Camp, Cody and Isabella Pruit, Hilary (Matthew) Fagan; great great grandaughter, Delilah Fagan; sister, Ruth Flener, Kansas City, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alta Herbert and Birdie Virginia Pitcock Alexander; wife, Rachel Mae Arflack Alexander, son, Larry Alexander and daughter, Peggy Alexander.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2PM Sunday, February 20,2022 at Mapleview Cemetery, Marion, KY.

There will be no public visitation at the funeral home, however, the public is welcome to the service at the cemetery.
