Barbara Ann Thurmond

Barbara Ann Thurmond age 69 of Marion, KY passed away Saturday, May 10, 2025 at Salem Springlake Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Barbara had been employed as assistant deli manager at Conrad’s grocery for over 20 years. She enjoyed gardening and cooking.

She is survived by her husband, Guy Thurmond Jr., Marion, KY; daughters, Stephanie (Mike) Maness and Wendy (Todd) Lucas, all of Marion, KY; son, Mathew Thurmond, Marion, KY; brothers, Floyd (Sylvia) Pate, Harold Pate and Rickie Pate, all of Georgia; six grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Roy and Mamie Fillyaw Pate; brothers, James Register and Donald Pate.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 2 PM at Myers Funeral Home. Friends may visit Wednesday beginning at 12 Noon and continue until service time.

Burial will follow in Crowell Cemetery.
