Belva Ann Newcom

Belva Ann (Carter) Newcom, 63 of Elizabethtown, died Friday, November 28, 2014 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Big Springs, a member of Elizabethtown Baptist Church and was in the last graduating class of Flaherty High School. She retired in 2006 from Ft. Knox Ireland Army Hospital as a Medical Transcriber. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry L. and Phyllis Carolyn Hastings Carter. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Randy Newcom and a brother, Chris (Willa) Carter of Bardstown. The funeral will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Myers Funeral Home in Marion, Kentucky. Burial to follow in Mapleview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Myers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Elizabethtown Baptist Church music ministry 1525 North Miles Street - Elizabethtown, KY 42701   Arrangements: The funeral will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Myers Funeral Home in Marion, Kentucky.
