Brenda Joyce York

Brenda Joyce York, 75, of Marion, KY passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Livingston County Hospital, Salem, KY.

She was born on August 2, 1947 in Henderson County, Kentucky to the late Ernest and Mary Flo Ella Nally.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Leeroy York, son, Billy Banks, infant twin sons and a brother, Thomas Nally.

During their married life, Brenda and Leeroy enjoyed singing gospel and country music. She greatly enjoyed attending auctions.

Brenda is survived by three sons, Terry (Angie) Banks, Harry Banks and Ralph Banks; honorary daughter, Helen (Frankie) Head; granddaughter, Tiffany (Jeremy)

Robins; grandsons, Patrick (Leah) Smith and Keith Banks; great grandchildren, Leeana and Tobias Robins and Wyatt, Chandler and Bennett Smith; sister, Karen Fulcher.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 2 PM at Unity General Baptist Church in Crayne, KY.Visitation at the church will be held from 11 AM until the service time at 2 PM with Bro. Gary Hardesty officiating. Burial will follow in Love Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Smith, Frankie Head, Evan Head, Michael Blakeley, Zach Stevens, Troy Martin and Micah Franklin. Honorary pallbearers will be Wyatt, Chandler and Bennett Smith and Tobias Robins.
