Clara Lee Whitt

Clara Lee Whitt age 91 of Marion, Kentucky passed away Sunday June 29, 2014 at her home. She was a retired teacher and had done historical research. She is survived by her daughter Louisa Towery, Marion, KY; four grandchildren,Allie Whitt, Abigale Smith, Katie Evans and Susan Towery and four great grandchildren. Mrs. Whitt was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Louisa Lee MacCaddam, her husband, Willis Oliver Whitt and son, Glen MacCaddam Whitt.. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday July 2 at Myers Funeral Home, Marion, Kentucky with burial in the Frances Cemetery. Friends may call at Myers Funeral Home beginning at 12 o’clock noon on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Frances Cemetery c/o Mrs. J.C. Asbridge, 117 Lafayette Heights, Marion, KY 42064 or to Lourdes Hospice P.O. Box 7100, Paducah, KY 42002-9961.
