Dennis Paul Belt

Dennis Paul Belt age 79 of Cadiz, KY passed away May 21, 2021 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Center in Paducah, KY.

He had worked as a coal miner and in construction. Dennis was a UK fan, enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the NRA.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Carol Sue Belt, Cadiz, KY; daughter, Jana Young, Bowling Green, KY; daughter in law, Tammey Belt, Douglasville, GA; step-daughter, Tina Marie Campbell, Greenville, TN; brother, Walter Reed Hodge, Moline, IL; sister, Sue Hodge Eckroth, Weyers Cave, VA; seventeen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Mr. Belt was preceded in death by his stepfather, Gleneth “Denny” Hodge; parents, Audrey G. Belt and Edith Marie James Hodge; sons, James (Jim) Dennis Belt and Gregory Loyce Belt and brother, Audrey “Sonny” Belt.

A Celebraton of Life will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at his residence between the hours of 1 and 3 PM. Those attending are requested to bring a covered dish and a lawn chair.
