Dottie McClure Doom Manley age 86 passed away at Paragon Assisted Living Facility in Madisonville on September 28, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rebecca Lane, her first husband Harland Doom and second husband, Jim Manley and stepson, Steve Manley, two sisters, Jane Ray and Jonni Lou Conger, two brothers, Rudolph McClure and Northern McClure.
Dottie is survived by three granddaughters, Jessica Lane, Singapore; Lara Lane, Nashville, TN and Mee Ri (Michael) Middleton, Lexington, KY; three step grandchildren, Josh, Samantha and Katlyn Manley and two stepsons, Randy (Judith)
Manley and Scott (Ruddell) Manley; brother, Pat (Jeri) McClure and sisters, Betty Jones, Dorcas Kline and June (Doug) Duvall; also many great grandchildren.
She retired from General Motors with over 30 years of service in St. Louis, MO. She retired to her home in Marion, KY where she was a faithful member of Seven Springs Baptist Church. Her love of travel and history took her to all United States except Hawaii and many countries around the world. But her greatest love was her family.
The family requests memorial donations be made in Dottie’s memory to Seven Springs Baptist Church 219 Seven Branch Rd., Marion, KY 42064.
Myers Funeral Home, Marion, KY is honored to serve the family of Dottie Doom Manley with funeral services Friday, October 2, 2020 at 1 PM at the funeral home with visitation beginning at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Dycusburg Cemetery.
