Effie Mae Campbell age 85 of Marion, KY passed away August 18, 2021 at Crittenden Community Hospital.
Mrs. Campbell was a member of Sulphur Spring Baptist Church where she was active in many church activities including driving the church bus. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society, Crittenden County Homemakers Association, Crittenden County Geneological Society, auxiliary volunteer at Crittenden Health Systems and school bus driver for 15 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Patti (Dan) DeShields, Newburgh, IN; sons, Danny Campbell, Newburgh, IN and Charles (Melissa) Campbell,Orlando, FL.; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren; brother, Winfred Chandler, Newburgh, IN; sisters, Nancy Weenig, Colorado Springs, CO; Barbara Krueger, Fairfield Glade, TN; Mary DeRolf, Plantation, FL; Judy King, Eaton, OH; Janet Hood, Highland, IN.
Effie was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Campbell; parents, Jeff and Geneva (Hodge) Chandler; and one sister.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Myers Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Boone officiating. Burial will follow in Mexico Cemetery. Visitation begins at 10 AM Wednesday and continues until the service time at 1 PM.
