Georganna Thurmond

Georganna Thurmond age 87 of Marion, KY passed away Thursday January 28, 2016 at Princeton Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Thurmond is survived by a daughter, Gaylene McCain, Smithland, KY; a son, Guy Thurmond, Jr. Marion, KY; six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; a sister, Wilma Ruth  Gentry, Mooresville, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband Guy R.Thurmond, Sr; parents, Fletcher and Myrtle Helderman Gentry; one brother and two sisters. Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Monday February 1, 2016 at Myers Funeral Home, Marion, KY with burial in Crowell Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday February 1, 2016 at Myers Funeral Home between the hours of 10 AM and 2 PM.
