Henry Franklin Simpson

H. F. Simpson age 82 OF Marion, KY passed away Sunday December 1, 2013 at Baptist Health Madisonville. Mr. Simpson had retired from the KY Department of Transportation after 32 years of service and was a farmer. He was a member and deacon of Providence General Baptist Church and was an Army veteran. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Joycedene Simpson, Marion, KY; son Terry (Tanya) Simpson, Marion, KY; daughter, Dianna (Dee) Russom, Nashville, TN; sister, Margaret Thomas, Evansville, IN; granddaughter, Kelsey Simpson, Marion, KY and grandson, Travis (Tiffany) Simpson, Louisville, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Alma McDowell Simpson, sister, Rosalie Boston  and a granddaughter, Sarah Simpson. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Myers Funeral Home, Marion, KY  with Bro. David Davis and Bro. Barry Cullen officiating. Burial will followl in Babb Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at Myers Funeral Home Monday between the hours of 4 and 8 PM. Arrangements: Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Myers Funeral Home, Marion, KY  with Bro. David Davis and Bro. Barry Cullen officiating. Burial in Babb Cemetery.
