Jackie Dean Moore

Jackie Dean Moore age 67 of Marion, KY passed away December 5, 2024 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center, Paducah, KY.

Prior to his retirement, Jackie had been employed in the mail department of the West KY Correctional Center. He lived life to the fullest and was blessed with many friends and always showed a deep love for his family. His spare time was filled with hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Travis Moore, Marion, KY; goddaughter, Mason Towery; sisters, Jennifer (Gary) Doom, Smithland, KY and Debbie (Dave) Padgett, Marion, KY; aunt, Karen Ordway and uncle, Noble Travis; nephew, Brian (Jennifer) Doom; stepson, Justin Beard; grandchildren, Quentin, Greyson, Spencer, Rose Beard; several nieces and nephews.

Jackie was preceded in death by his parents, James “Red” and Shirley Travis Moore; stepmother, Polly Moore and sister, Gail Moore.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 9, 2024 at 1 PM at Myers Funeral Home with burial in Hurricane Cemetery. Friends may visit beginning at 11 AM Monday and continue until service time.

Charitable donations in Jackie’s memory may be made to the Crittenden County Animal Shelter and the Mary Hall Ruddiman Shelter.
