James Tinsley Obituary

James Trice (Jim) Tinsley, 68 of Marion, KY formerly of Cottage Grove, TN, faithful servant and beloved husband went to be with his heavenly Father, August 9, 2012 at Western Baptist Hospital.  James was born in Livingston County, KY. James leaves behind his beloved wife, Linnie M. Chittenden Tinsley; a son, Michael Tinsley, Tennessee; a daughter, Tammy Owens, Henderson, KY; a step-son, Michael Schaibley, Hazel, KY; a step-daughter, Melissa (Wayne) Agent, Marion, KY; one sister, Barbara (John) Thatch, Lola, KY; two step grand-daughters, Leana Riley, Marion, KY and Keeta Schaibley, Puryear, TN; two step great-grandchildren Michael and Trinity, Puryear, TN. James was a truck driver for Norwood Farms and Norwood Construction.  James was preceded in death by his parents, Trice & Ruth Evelyn Tinsley, one brother and one sister. Visitation will be at Myers Funeral Home, Marion, KY Sunday, August 12 between the hours of   5 and 8 P.M. Funeral services will be held Monday August 13 at 1 P.M. at Good Hope Baptist Church in Hampton. Mr. Tinsley will lie in state at the church beginning at Noon on Monday with burial to follow in Good Hope Cemetery.  Brothers Bennie Chandler and Paul Wayne Chittenden officiating. Arrangements: Visitation Sunday August 12, 2012 from 5 to 8 P.M. at Myers Funeral Home Funeral Service Monday August 13, 2012 at 1 P.M. at Good Hope Baptist Church
