Johnie Travis Obituary

Johnie Allen Travis age 87 of Marion, KY passed away Friday, March 2, 2018 at Crittenden County Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was a retired employee of Kentucky Utilities and a member and elder of Sugar Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean War. Mr. Travis is survived by sons, Randy (Diane) Travis, Grand Junction, TN; Larry Travis, Marion, KY; Micheal (Melinda) Travis, Marion, KY; daughter, Kathy (Jack) Moore, Marion, KY; 5 grandchildren, Justin Beard, Jason Beasley, Jay Michael Travis, Jacob Hunt and Kaylin Travis; 3 great grandchildren, Quentin and Greyson Beard and Jayden Duncan; brother, Homer Ray Travis and sister, Peggy Easley, Marion, KY. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Craighead Travis; parents, Homer and Ora Hillyard Travis. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 5, 2018 at 2:30 PM at Sugar Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call at Myers Funeral Home, Marion, KY on Monday between the hours of 11 AM and 1 PM and from 1:30 PM until the time of the service at the church.   Arrangements: Funeral services will be held Monday, March 5, 2018 at 2:30 PM at Sugar Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call at Myers Funeral Home on Monday between the hours of 11 AM and 1 PM and from 1:30 PM until the time of the service at the church.
