Joseph Earl Jones

Joseph “Joe” Earl Jones age 72 of Marion, KY passed away at his home March 30, 2026.

Joe worked as a coal miner and in later years was engaged in the logging business.

He enjoyed hobbies and activities that took him to the great outdoors.

He is survived by his daughter Stacey Jones and son Wesley Jones; granddaughters, Autumn Jones and Tesla Jackson; great grandchildren, Zayden Todd, Serenity Todd and Miles Kirk; brothers, Jesse Jones, Jackie Jones, Jeff Jones,Justin Jones, Jason Jones, Jerreld Jones; several nieces and nephews. All survivors reside in Marion, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Edward and Georgie Marie Walker Jones and brothers James and John.

A memorial service will be held  2 PM, April 12, 2026 at Baker Church Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Myers Funeral Home and there is no visitation at the funeral home.
