Kristie Rene Grimes

Kristie Rene Grimes age 51 of Carrier Mills, Illinois passed away August 5, 2025 at her home.

She was a loving mother and grandmother and cared for her beloved pets, Pepper, Casey and Rufan.

She is survived by her sons, Dirk Hopkins and Tyler Woodall; sister, Leslie (Scotty) Nichols and brother, John Hamilton; father, Franklin Hamilton; grandchildren, Amaya Woodall, Braeden Copeland, Evonly and Genesis Calderon; also several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Kristie was preceded in death by her mother, Karen Darlene Darnell and two grandmothers.

Graveside funeral services are scheduled for 10 AM  Sunday August 10. 2025 at Love Cemetery under the direction of Myers Funeral Home, Marion, KY. There is no visitation at the funeral home.
