Kuma Elizabeth Little went to be with the Lord on the 23d of May 2025 at the age of 98. She spent over six decades as part of a ministry team with her husband, Rev. Roy Little. After evangelizing from the Great Plains to the Appalachians and throughout the South, they settled to pastor two churches in Chicago, Illinois before returning to Kentucky.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Roy Little; two parents, Virgil and Mary Eva Holloman; one daughter, Karla Conner; two grandchildren, Greg Conner and Geoff Conner; brothers, Doyle Holloman, James Holloman and Roger Holloman; sisters, Maggie Staab, Mary Lena Belt and an infant.
She is survived by a son, Daniel Little of Hillsboro, VA. From Karla Conner, four grandchildren survive: Kressa Olson, Woodland Park, CO, Ralph Schmuggerow, Jr., Geneva, IL, Lynn Schmuggerow McKeen, Shorewood, IL and Jamie Campbell, Wimauma, FL Grandchildren from Daniel Little includes: Daniel Little, Fort Moore, GA, Sarah Little, Tulsa, OK, Andrew Little, Presidio of Monterrey, CA, Lucas Little, Marcus Little and Naomi Little of Hillsboro, VA. Her legacy also includes 27 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. Her extended family extends to Europe, Africa and Asia.
Visitation will be at Myers Funeral Home in Marion starting at 10am, 28 May, 2025 with the Funeral starting at Noon. Officiating will be Rev. Darrick Holloman, Pastor at West Frankfort Baptist Church, West Frankfort, IL.
“For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” 2 Tim. 4, 6-8.
