Michael Shane Travis age 25 of Fredonia, KY died November 20, the result of an automobile accident on Illinois Highway State Route 1. He was a logger. Mr. Travis is survived by his father, John C. (Stephanie) Travis, Fredonia, KY; mother, Angie (Tommy) Hodges, McEwen, TN; sisters, Meagan Gipson, Dickson, TN; Mya Hodges, McEwen,TN; Maddie Travis, Fredonia, KY; paternal grandparents, Keith & Brenda Travis, Fredonia, KY; maternal grandmother, Sandie Kirk, Fordland, MO; honorary grandparents, John & Shirley Reed, Princeton, KY; niece, Lillian Holland, Dickson, TN; girlfriend, Jessica Gill, Fredonia, KY. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Don Kirk. Graveside funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday at Caldwell Springs Cemetery.
