Mildred "Peachie" Long

Dora Mildred “Peachie” Long, age 98 passed away May 7, 2025 at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.

She was a loving mother, homemaker and farmer, a member of Emmaus Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and enjoyed singing in church.

She is survived by daughters, Shirley Dycus, Kuttawa, KY and Avonna Baker, Salem, KY; 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews.

“Peachie” was preceded in death by her husband, Jewell Orlin Long; parents, Patrick Henry Riley and Willie Jane Sullivan; son, Jewell Long; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM Tuesday, May 13, 2025  at Myers Funeral Home with visitation beginning Tuesday morning at 11 AM and continuing until service time.

Burial will follow at Mapleview Cemetery.
