Nancy June Croft

Nancy J. Croft of Marion, KY passed away Tuesday October 17, 2023. Nancy was the daughter of the late Garland & Mildred Griffin. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dwayne Croft of Lola, KY.

Nancy is survived by two children, Bryan Guess, Marion, KY and Tammy McIntyre, Paducah, KY; three sisters, Shirley Wells, Sullivan, KY; Judy Engel, Evansville, IN and Kay (JD) Grimes, Marion, KY; grandson, Griffin Guess, Plainfield, IN; nieces and nephews include, Rhonda and Roseanne, Union County, KY; Debbie and David, Evansville, IN and Timothy (Debbie) Grimes, Marion, KY.

Nancy was an active member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Marion, KY. She loved God and would always say she looked forward to “Going to Glory” to behold Jesus and see her parents, husband and all of her sweet little pets that she had adored in this life. It is a comfort to know that she is in heaven rejoicing with those that she dearly loved and truly missed. Nancy so loved her family and friends and had the most generous spirit. It didn’t matter if she knew someone or not, if there was a need that she could fill, she did so with a song in her heart. In every family, there is a tender-hearted soul that brought love and light and that was her role in her family. Everyone that met her, loved her and she never met a stranger.

Nancy was a huge animal lover and had rescued many dogs.She was a big supporter of Lone Star Shih Tzu Rescue, KY Hopeful Paws Rescue, the Mary Hall Ruddiman Shelter and donated to any good cause that needed help. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your local animal shelter or favorite animal rescue.

This beautiful soul will truly be missed by her family.

Friends may visit at Myers Funeral Home Friday, October 20, 2023 between the hours of 11 AM and 12:30 PM.  Graveside funeral services will follow at 1 PM at Mapleview Cemetery, Marion, KY.
