Nancy Diana Saavedra

Nancy Diana Saavedra age 69 of Marion, KY passed away October 26, 2024 at her home.

Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as a registered nurse at Crittenden County Hospital for 25 years. She was a member of Mexico Baptist Church and a devoted volunteer at the Crittenden County Animal Shelter. Nancy was also a certified scuba diver. She enjoyed traveling and camping and had fostered numerous animals throughout the years. She genuinely had a big heart for those in need.

She is survived by her sister, Laura Holcomb-Hubinger, Charlestown,IN; brother, Michael (Laurie) Holcomb, Marion, KY; nieces and nephews, Jahn, Carter,Emma Holcomb, Shawn Budke, Billy, Laura Lee, and Elliott Holcomb.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, William “Bill” and Joan Woodall Holcomb and brother, Billy Holcomb.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 1, 2024 at 12 Noon at Myers Funeral Home with burial in Frances Cemetery. Visitation will begin Friday at 10 AM and continue until the service time.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Crittenden County Animal Shelter would be appreciated. Donation envelopes will be available at the funeral home or can be mailed to 1901 US 60, Marion, KY 42064.
