Naomi J. Thurmond

Naomi J. Thurmond, 95, passed away March 3, 2025. She was a loving homemaker to her family and was a member of the Bartlett Chapel Global Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jeanette Thurmond; parents, Bjame Harry and Pearl Spurrier. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Thurmond;

children, Janet (Mike) Baldwin, Michael (Christine) Thurmond and Monte (Katherine) Thurmond; grandchildren, Erin Simpson, Adam Baldwin, Zachary Thurmond, Joe Thurmond and David Thurmond; great grandchildren, Mackenzie Thurmond, Madison Thurmond, Kyler Thurmond and Raelin Ogle.

Services are 2pm (Eastern) Friday March 7, 2025 at Conkle Funeral Home, Avon, IN with visitation 12pm-2pm before the service. Burial will be Saturday, March 8, 2025

1pm (Central) in Rosebud Cemetery, Marion, KY under the direction of Myers Funeral Home, Marion, KY.
