Neil Thomas Decker

Mr. Neil Thomas Decker of Marion, KY, son of the late Thomas Kendall Decker and Mildred Irene McConnell Decker, was born on March 18, 1954, in Jeffersonville, IN. He departed this life on Sunday, April 29, 2018, at his home. He was 64 years, 1 month, and 11 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ. He worked for the Natural Resources Conservation Service. He also owned and operated Duke’s Racquet Club and Rough Country Golf Course. He was preceded in death by his biological mother, Laura Ellen Minton Decker, and a sister, Deborah Renee Hamby. Survivors include a sister, Abbie Erin Tyler, of Nashville, TN; a brother, Dale Cameron Decker and wife, Darla, of Greensburg, KY; two nieces and two nephews: Kyle Decker and wife, Stephanie; Leah Barrett and husband, Brad; John Hamby and wife, Chie; and Laura Hamby; great-nieces and nephews: MaKaylee Decker; Zoey Barrett; Riley Decker; Zane Barrett; and Charlie Hamby; and a host of other relatives and friends. There will be a memorial service held at Mexico Baptist Church, Marion, KY, at 1:00 p.m. on June 2, 2018.
