Phillip Morris Binkley age 80 of Salem, KY passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Lourdes Hospital, Paducah, KY.
He was a member of Pinkneyville Baptist Church where he served as a trustee. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a carpenter and later in years worked at the Salem Water and Sewage Department. He enjoyed going to church, spending time with his family, gardening, fishing, riding golf cart with his granddaughter, talking to his sisters on the telephone and most of all, sharing his love of God.
Mr. Binkley is survived by his wife, Henrietta Binkley,Salem, KY; children, Johnetta (Austin) Taylor, Salem, KY; Vicky (Jerry) Parker, Clinton, TN and Stefanie (Todd) Ferry, Timberlake, NC; grandchildren, Josie Taylor, Tanner (Devin) Collins and Tyler Collins; great grandchild, Chandler Collins; siblings, Ina (Dwight) Williams, Carolyn
(Denzil) Shuecraft, Mae (Carter) Butler, Nora Belle Driver and Billy Binkley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Edith Binkley; brother, Robert Binkley and sisters, Frankie Warnick and Nellie Vrbetic.
The family has requested expressions of sympathy be Gideon Bibles in lieu of flowers.
Due to his request and state mandates, private graveside services will be held for immediate family. Your help is appreciated in maintaining state mandated COVID restrictions and that includes wearing a mask and maintaining the minimum six feet of social distancing.
