Rachel Pauline "Polly" Guess

Rachel Pauline "Polly" Guess age 81 of Marion, KY passed away October 31, 2021 at Mercy Health Paducah.

She was retired from Potter and Brumfield and was a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapters 135 and Shady Grove 505 and enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Rachel is survived by her husband, Tom Guess, Marion, KY; daughter, Jennifer Doom, Smithland, KY; son, Jack Moore, Tolu, KY; step-daughter, Sandy Urbanowski, Marion, KY; step-sons, Tom Guess, Jr. Ocala, FL and Chris Guess, Huntingdon, TN;

brothers, Tommy Williams, Carrsville, KY and Dwight Williams, Hampton, KY; grandson, Brian Doom, Mayfield, KY; great grandchildren, Parker and Cooper Doom, both of Mayfield, KY; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, James “Red” Moore and parents, Ralph and Nora Edna Watkins Williams.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Myers Funeral Home with burial in Hurricane Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 AM Wednesday

and continue until the time of the service at 1 PM at which time an Eastern Star service will be part of the funeral.
