Raymond Eugene Walker

Raymond Eugene Walker age 97 of Salem, KY passed away September 6, 2023 at Providence Pointe Healthcare in Paducah, KY.

Eugene was a farmer and self employed as a core driller having owned and operated his own business. Upon retirement from that business, he began a new occupation as a water hauler and served numerous families in the area. He was a well loved member of the community and admired by all whom he served. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Life in Christ Church.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Norveline Walker, Salem, KY; son, Michael (Tanya) Walker, Madisonville, KY; daughter, Melinda (David) Watson, Paducah, KY; grandchildren, Russ Walker, Chicago, IL.; Ryan Walker, Murray, KY and Lauren Watson Neihoff, Paducah, KY; great grandchildren, Addair Walker, Thatch Walker, Jack Walker, Briggs Walker and Jett Walker; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Elva Hill Walker and brothers, Wendell Walker and Randall Walker.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 3 PM  at Life in Christ Church, Marion, KY with  burial in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will begin at Life in Christ Church on Sunday at 1 PM and continue until the time of service at 3 PM. There will be no visitation at Myers Funeral Home.
