Robert Ollie York

Robert “Buddy” York age 93 of Marion, Kentucky passed away Saturday May 11, 2012 at his residence. Mr. York was a core driller. He is survived by two daughters, Donna Kay Minton, Marion, KY and Sandy (Jack) Newell, Madisonville, KY; one step-daughter, Mary Rose Clark and one step-son Doyle (Naoma) Jennings, both of Marion, KY; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several step grandchildren. Mr. York was preceded in death by his wife Esta Watson York; his parents, John and Della Maynard York; three brothers, three sisters and a step-daughter. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM Wednesday May 15 at the Myers Funeral Home, Marion, KY with Rev. Mike Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mapleview Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 11 AM and continuing up until the time of the funeral service at 1 PM.   Arrangements: Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM Wednesday May 15 at the Myers Funeral Home, Marion, KY with Rev.
