Roy Douglas Jacobs age 66 of Fredonia, KY passed away Monday, February 9, 2015 at Baptist Health Paducah. He was a tractor mechanic and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Jacobs is survived by his wife, Sandra Kay Jacobs, Fredonia, KY; sons, Michael Douglas Jacobs and Roy Jeffry *Jacobs, both of Marion, KY; daughters, Cathy (Ricky) Poindexter, Carrsville, KY; Teresa (Scott) Price, Mexico, KY; Jackie (Buddy) Chandler, Mattoon, KY; grandchildren, Amber Hewitt, James Poindexter, Daniel Price, Kevin Chandler, Elizabeth Price, Matthew Chandler, Jacob Poindexter, Shane Jacobs, Jerusha Jacobs, Thomas(T.J.) Jacobs, Jeremiah Jacobs, Jonathan Jacobs; great grandchildren, Kaylee Hewitt, Alex Hewitt, Kolton Price; brothers, Cecil Jacobs, Evansville, IN and Darrell Jacobs, Frances, KY; sisters, Mary Sherrell, Crayne, KY and Linda Campbell, Frances, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents Andrew Jackson and Lillian Carner Jacobs; sister, Mamie Lois Jacobs; brother, Jimmie Jacobs.
