Ruth Laird Meredith

Ruth “Dot” Laird Meredith age 72 of Erin, Tennessee formerly of Marion, Kentucky passed away April 13, 2016 at Signature HealthCare of Erin, Tennessee. She had been employed as a legal secretary for many years at the Crittenden County Attorney’s Office. She had also worked for Child Protective Services and served as a “Meals on Wheels” driver and assistant at the local Senior Citizens Center in Marion, KY. She worked with Habitat for Humanity and the local literacy program. Dot is survived by a son, Ronald (Barbie) Sondesky, Savannah, TN; daughters, Denise (Mike) Johnson, Erin, TN and Judy (Scott) Templeton, Marion, KY; brother, William (Pat) Meredith, Merchantville, NJ; sister in law, Clara Karpin Philadelphia, Pa; grandchildren, Codie Sondesky, Meredith, Breanna, Josh and Chad Lanham, Jonathan, Tommy and Quinn Templeton. Cremation was chosen by Dot and there will be no visitation. Myers Funeral Home in Marion, KY handled the arrangements.
