Sam Morris Hodge age 86 of Marion, KY passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024 at Morganfield Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Sam retired as a truck driver for the Crittenden County Road Department and served in the National Guard. He was a member of Marion First Cumberland Presbyterian Church and enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Sunny Hodge, Marion, KY; daughter, Julie (Chris) Crowdus, Morganfield, KY; granddaughters, Karen (Greg) Vaughn, Paducah, KY and Alyssa (Clark) Ewing, Parson, TN; grandson, Cooper Crowdus, two great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emil Guy and Stella Ruth Thomas Hodge; son, Danny Hodge; sisters, Mary & Ruth; brothers, Charlie, Don, George and Guy Edward.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 1 PM at Myers Funeral Home with burial in Mapleview Cemetery. Friends may visit on Thursday beginning at 11 AM and continue until service time.
