Sarah Emily Shelby

Sarah Emily Stout Shelby age 77 of Marion, KY passed away Thursday October 22, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

Emily was a cosmetologist owning and operating a salon business since 1965.

She was a graduate of Murray State-Fitzpatrick School of Design, a member of Marion Baptist Church and a devoted member of Marion Main Street, having assisted in many community improvement projects.

She is survived by her son, Paul Beard; granddaughter, Kylee Beard and brother, David (Shannon) Stout, all of Marion, KY.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Evan Moulton Shelby and parents,

William H. and Esther Sophene Wood Stout.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday October 25, 2020 at 2 PM at Mapleview Cemetery. Myers Funeral Home, Marion, KY is honored to serve the family of Sarah Emily Shelby.
