Steven Edwin Hackney

Steve Hackney age 64 of Salem, KY died January 30, 2014 at Livingston Hospital and Healthcare Services. He was a coal miner and Full Gospel preacher. Mr. Hackney is survived by his wife Carol Hackney, Salem, KY; 4 sons, Steve Hackney, Christopher Hackney and Corey Hackney all of Marion, KY and Calep Hackney, Salem, KY; 3 daughters, Donna Faye Hines, Reidland, KY;  Tracy Skees, Morganfield, KY and Christina Hackney, Marion, KY; 2 brothers, Danny Wayne Hackney, Grand Rivers, KY and David Reed Hackney, Marion, KY; 5 sisters, Judy Thurman and Wanda Abell both of Marion, KY; Monda Watson, Salem, KY; Martha Stinnett, Dycusburg, KY and Patsy Wyatt, St. Anthony, IN; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Wanda Franklin Hackney and two brothers. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 pm Saturday At Myers Funeral Home, Marion, KY with burial in Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Myers Funeral Home from 11 am – 1 pm Saturday, February 1, 2014.
