Terry Edward Mathis

Terry Edward Mathis age 74 of Marion, KY passed away at his residence

October 08, 2025.

Terry was of the Baptist faith and a veteran of the United States Army.

Known as “Cheeseburger” by his many friends and acquaintances he spent many hours seeing folks at Bobby Stinnett Used Car Lot and was a faithful volunteer for local fire departments.

He is survived by a son, Edward Mathis and a daughter, Mary Elise Day; siblings, Deena Witt, Roger Mathis, Frances Mathis, Pat Wersel and Chyril Woods.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Mathis; parents, Melvin and Eloise Deen Mathis and six siblings.

Graveside funeral services will be held 1 PM, Monday October 20, 2025 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
