Thomas Edward Hughes

Thomas Edward Hughes age 66 of Marion, Kentucky passed away Thursday,                      October 23, 2014 at his home. He was a retired teacher and had also worked in the coal mining industry. He attended Marion United Methodist Church and was a member of the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association. Mr. Hughes is survived by his wife, Rosie Hughes, Marion, KY; daughters, Danielle Hunt, Marion, KY and Nicole Tucker, West Jefferson, NC; stepsons, Mike Rogers, Hopkinsville, KY and Mark Rogers, Walnut Cove, NC; sisters, Colleen Harbour, Marion, KY and Lisa Dycus, Kuttawa, KY; four grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Leon and Hallie Lorene Nolan Hughes. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Sunday October 26, 2014 at Myers Funeral Home, Marion, KY with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery.  Visitation at Myers Funeral Home Saturday between 5 and 8 PM.
