Tresa Faye Hunter

Tresa Faye Hunter age 74 of Marion, KY passed away August 29, 2023 at Crittenden County Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She had worked for over twenty years at Quality Day Care in Marion, KY. Tresa was of the Baptist faith and served as a Sunday school teacher at Marion Baptist Church. She loved her family and was a fan of all music. She relished her roots as a native of Detroit and was especially fond of the Motown Sound.

Survivors include her children, Andrea Shemwell, Marion, KY; Ashley Soriano, Paducah, KY and Brian (Tiffany) Shemwell, Paducah, KY; a brother, Craig (Barb) Coplen, Detroit, MI and grandchildren, Carver, Keaton, Reese, Sy, Arya and Meryn.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Ray Hunter, parents, J.E. and Jessie Fields Coplen and infant daughter, Ashly Shemwell.

Visitation will be held Saturday,  September 9, 2023 at Myers Funeral Home beginning at 11 AM and conclude with a Memorial Service at 1 PM at the funeral home.
