William Carlisle Towery

William Carlisle Towery, Sr. age 92 of Marion died Sunday November 25 at his home. He was a farmer and a World War II army veteran, recipient of the Bronze Star. Mr. Towery is survived by a daughter, Nancy Brock, Marion, KY; three sons, Bill Towery, Marion, KY; Clark Towery, Scottsville, KY and Rob Towery, Marion, KY; a brother, Shellie Elmo Towery, Wichita Falls, TX; eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Shellie Clark and Lela Barnes Towery. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Myers Funeral Home, Marion, KY. Friends may call at the Myers Funeral Home Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. and continuing up until the time of the service at 1 p.m. Arrangements: Memorial Service Saturday December 1, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Myers Funeral Home Visitation: Saturday December 1, 2012 from 11 a.m. to service time at 1 p.m.
