William Ralph Travis

William “Sonny” Travis age 70 of Providence, KY  died June 15, 2014 at his home. He was a retired carpenter, member of Maranatha Baptist Church, and a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Travis is survived by his wife, Martha Travis, Providence, KY; sons, Jeff Travis, Marion, KY and Ray Derrington, Sturgis, KY; daughters, Sue Clevenger, Providence, KY; Donna Hanor, Providence, KY; and Cheryl Williams, Florida; stepsons, Ricky Sisco, Providence, KY and John Sisco, Draffenville, KY; stepdaughters, Martha Emery, Cabool, MO and Jeannie Thomason, Providence, KY; brother, James Travis, Providence, KY and sisters, Mary Wyatt, Madisonville, KY; Martha Jameson and Betty Atkins both of Providence, KY; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Laura Tosh Travis. Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 18, 2014 at 11 AM at the Myers Funeral Home, Marion KY with burial in the Green Grove Cemetery in Webster County. Visitation will be held from 5 – 8 pm Tuesday at Myers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers controbutions may be made to Lourdes Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 7100, Paducah, KY 42002. Arrangements: Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 18, 2014 at 11 AM at the Myers Funeral Home, Marion KY with burial in the Green Grove Cemetery in Webster County. Visitation will be held from 5 – 8 pm Tuesday at Myers Funeral Home.
