Zelda Belle McDowell age 59 of Marion, KY passed away February 27, 2015 at the home of her daughter in Marion. She was a homemaker. Mrs. McDowell is survived by her daughter, Amanda Louise Little, Marion, KY; son, Shane McDowell, Marion, KY; six grandchildren; five brothers, William Wharton, Atlant, GA; Jimmy Wharton, Lexington, KY; Donnie Wharton, Indianapolis, IN; Larry Wharton, Sonora, KY; Sammy Wharton, Henderson, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Allen McDowell; parents, Wilson and Maddie Pimbertan Wharton; two sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be held Friday March 6, 2015 at  11 AM at the Myers Funeral Home with burial in the Crowell Cemetery.
